Conveyance Allowance

The Victorian Government may provide financial assistance to eligible families to help with the cost of travelling to and from school.

Am I eligible?

Your child may be eligible if they:

• live 4.8 km or more from their nearest appropriate school

• attend school at least 3 days per week

• do not have access to suitable free school bus or public transport.

The allowance may help with travel by car, public transport, bicycle, motorcycle or private bus.

How do I apply?

If you think your child may be eligible, please contact our school office for an application form.

The amount of assistance depends on the distance travelled and the type of transport used. The allowance is a contribution towards travel costs, not full reimbursement.

Questions? Please contact the school office for more information or to discuss your eligibility.
